Thank you for using "Quran - القرآن الكريم". We take your privacy seriously, and this policy explains — clearly and accurately — how the app handles your data. The app is designed to work without requiring any user account or sign-in of any kind.

1. Information We Collect

The app does not require account creation and does not collect any personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number. The only sensitive information the app may access is:

• Location data (GPS coordinates): used solely to accurately calculate prayer times and Qibla direction based on your current position.

Location access is entirely optional — you can decline it and manually select your city from a list instead, and the app will continue to work normally.

2. How We Use This Information

Location data is used exclusively, and entirely on your device, for functional purposes:

• Calculating prayer times for your location.
• Determining the Qibla direction.

Location data is never used for advertising, tracking, or analytics.

3. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. Your location data is used locally on your device only, to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction — it is never transmitted over the internet to our servers or anyone else's. The app contains no advertisements, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no in-app payment or donation processing.

4. Data Storage

All personal data generated by your use of the app — such as bookmarks, reading progress, and app preferences (language, font, prayer time calculation method, notification settings, and similar) — is stored locally on your device only, and is never uploaded to any server. Prayer-reminder notifications are likewise scheduled entirely on-device, without using any external push-notification service.

Because no personal data tied to a user identity is stored on our servers, no data-deletion request mechanism is needed — there is simply no server-side personal data of yours to delete.

5. Third-Party Services

The Quran text, translations, and the app's interface translations are bundled locally in the app and work fully offline. An optional "online mode" can fetch supplementary Quran content (additional languages/content) from the app's own backend (quran.nextflows.cloud). No personal data is sent with these requests beyond standard technical request data (such as your IP address), as with any web request.

The app may also contact Google Play services to check for app updates and to provide the in-app "rate this app" link. We do not use any third-party advertising networks or analytics tools.

6. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Since the app collects no personal data or accounts from any user in the first place, this applies equally to users of all ages.

7. Your Choices

• Location permission is entirely optional and can be declined or revoked at any time from your device settings.
• You can manually select your city instead of using automatic location detection.
• You can disable "online mode" and rely entirely on the content bundled locally with the app.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app. Any update will be published on this page, along with a revised "Effective Date" above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
